We recognize that the Bible is the very word of God, and as such we are deeply committed to knowing and obeying its truths. The following reflects a summary of our Core Doctrinal beliefs. For our full Doctrinal statement please click here. We join with believers of all ages in our affirmation of the historic creeds that define orthodox Christianity.

We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God without error as originally written. It is God’s only written revelation to man. It is the authoritative standard for every person of every age. It is the basis for all matters of faith and practice. All Scriptures were designed for our practical instruction. ( 2Tim3:16,17; 1 Cor2:13; 2 Pet1:21)

We believe there is only one living and true God. He exists eternally in three persons- Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and that these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power. (Deut 6:4, Matt 28:18-19; Mark 12:29; John 1:14; Rev 1:4-6)

 God the Father

We believe God the Father is creator of all things, absolute and omnipotent ruler of the universe. He is sovereign over all his creation. He is omnipresent and omniscient.  God alone orders all things according to His own purposes and grace. He saves from sin all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. He is the spiritual Father of believers (Gen 1:1; Psalm 103:19; Eph1:11; Rom8:14, Gal 4:5)

 God the Son

We believe that Jesus Christ, the second person of the trinity, is coequal, consubstantial and coeternal with the Father. Jesus is both fully man and fully God. He was born of a virgin, lived a perfect sinless life, was crucified and suffered death in our place, as a penalty for our sins.  Jesus was physically raised from the dead on the third day and ascended to the Father.  Jesus is coming again in the future to establish his kingdom on this earth. (Luke1:30-35; Heb4:15; Rom 5:8; 1 Cor 15:3,4; Rev 20:1-3)

 God the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine person possessing all attributes of personality and deity. He is coequal and consubstantial with the Father and the Son. He baptizes, indwells, and seals all believers at the moment of salvation. He works within to make every believer more like Christ. His sealing is the guarantee of our salvation and ensures that a true believer can never lose or forfeit their salvation. (Matt 28:19; Acts 5:3,4; John 14:16, 16:7-9, 10:28; Rom 8:9; 1 Cor 12:13; Eph 2:22)

We believe that man is totally sinful and unable to do anything to earn favor with God. All have sinned and all deserve the punishment of Hell. (Gen 6:5;  Rom3:23,6:23)

We believe that Jesus Christ offers salvation to all men based upon his substitutionary death and bodily resurrection. Man cannot earn salvation; it is the gift of God. Men are saved and justified based solely upon the work of Christ. Man is saved through faith by grace alone. There is salvation in Christ alone, apart from faith in Him, men are bound for the eternal punishment of hell.(Acts 13:39, 16:31; Eph 2:8,9; Gal 3:22; Titus 3:5)
